Business Acumen is the ability of an employee to make sound business decisions by combining a number of factors to arrive at the best outcome for a given situation. Programs under the Business Acumen umbrella deal with developing one’s understanding of Finance, and how it is used as the language of business, as well as understanding the different functions within the organization in order to have a big-picture perspective of how an organization works, how decisions are made, and how to make it profitable and sustainable for all its stakeholders.
